Powerful Opportunities for Spiritual Practice in April

6 April 2013 No Comments Print article Print article

Shri Anandi Ma and Dileepji have written the following about this auspicious month:

Chaitri Navratri as well as the birth anniversary of Lord Rama and the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman  fall in the month of April, making it a very special month for us.

After receiving shaktipat from the guru Vashistha, Lord Rama in turn gave Shaktipat to Lord Hanuman. We belong to this ancient and powerful lineage through Dhyanyogi and simply repeating the name or mantra Rama can take one to liberation and fulfill all desires.

On the occasions of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman’s birthday, we hope and pray that your faith, love, and devotion for them increase. May Lord Rama, along with Mother Sitaji, Lakshmanji, and Hanuman ever reside in your heart. In fact, if you win Guruji’s heart, He will take you to both Hanuman and Rama very easily.

  • Chaitra Navratri, the nine days leading up to the birth anniversary of Lord Ram’s birth is period of very high energy. The performance of anusthan, intensified spiritual practice, during this time brings auspiciousness and growth in the life of a disciple.

  • Ram Navami, we celebrate the birth of Lord Ram. Make some time for extra practices on this special day.
  • Hanuman Jayanti, celebrating the birthday of Lord Hanuman, will be celebrated globally by webcast. Please make a strong effort to get together in groups on Hanumanji’s birthday to do extra practices. Chanting 108 Hanuman Chalisas, Guru Puja, and repeating the Guru Mantra will be beneficial for your spiritual growth. Check in with your local group for any plans to do group practices.
