SEVA: A Slideshow for a New Series

25 October 2010 3 Comments Print article Print article

Seva, or selfless service, is an integral part of the spiritual path. We perform seva in many aspects of life and seva in the service of the guru is one such aspect. Starting this month, articles, disciples’ experiences, photos, slideshows and inspirational quotes about seva will be a regular feature of Shakti Online. Sharing experiences is a great way to communicate and understand the benefits and power of seva, so please send us an experience that you’d like to share of a time when you had the opportunity to be of service to the Guru or the Guru’s work in any context.

This month we begin with our first audio-visual slideshow with captions from Guru Tattwa by Swami Sivananda, published by Divine Life Society. In the background we hear the Shri Ram Stuti sweetly chanted by Guruji and Shri Anandi Ma from the CD Voice of the Heart.
