Thoughts at Christmas

December 10, 2011 | Click here to print.

The following is from a message that Dhyanyogiji sent to disciples in 1982:

As Christmas comes nearer I am reminded of the words of Lord Krishna:

Whenever there is decay of dharma and rise of adharma, then I embody

Myself, O Bharata. For the protection of the good, for the destruction of

the wicked and for the establishment of dharma, I am born age after age.

My heart is filled with great joy when I contemplate on the beautiful work Lord Christ did here on earth. His life of love and sacrifice must always be kept in our hearts and, taking that as a source of inspiration, mend our lives as best we can in perfecting ourselves by loving and serving the Lord and also those around us. This can be done in the best manner when we have understood our true identity. So make a firm determination and increase your efforts to reach the ultimate goal.

I send my blessings to all of you. May this Christmas and the New Year bring you happiness in all ways.

Dhyanyogiji
